Oratorio di San Carlo in Corso
Palazzo Ruspoli
Palazzo Rondinini
Meridiana by Augusto
Loggia del Primaticcio, Palazzo Firenze
Emperors see a land that is to be shaped, according to the image of an ideal world or, at least, that is a copy of the lines of their own hand. In the glory of the Borromeo, in the colored lights and in the golden details, the small heart of San Carlo beats in time with the Sun, traced behind a door, under the great sundial of Augustus, which will resume its time when the light will return to cover it. It waits, just as Palazzo Rondinini awaits Michelangelo's Pietà which it has lost. Like Palazzo Ruspoli, the soul of Prince Dado, and like Palazzo Firenze that awaits under the vaults of Prospero Fontana and opens a secret garden for him, the Grand Duke.
